Car Barn Beamish are pleased to announce that we are the title of sponsor of the Kielder Targa Rally, which is being held on the 17^th of September and is being organised by Hexham and District Motor Club.

Targa rallies are a relatively new form of motorsport, offering all the challenge of a stage rally while being available for more ‘standard’ road cars and at a lower cost. They are great way to getting into rallying and motorsport in general. The Kielder Targa Rally this year offers 12 tests to be completed during the day. 

The INEOS Grenadier will be on duty for recovery services during the event, after its successful role as a recovery vehicle for the BTCC at Croft.

There has been a large number entries for the rally, with the entry list filling within a day, and it currently has 16 cars on the reserve list. If you wish to be involved in the event, there is an opportunity to be a marshal if you contact the club via their website.
