It also has the original factory crimp type exhaust with the correct wire clamps. Furthermore, it has the (no longer available) white battery cover strap and the original Fry’s Austin Cooper boot badges which have been re-chromed. It also has the correct date stamped Lucas starter solenoid, wiper motor and flasher unit etc., along with the correct original Cooper S tags on the carburettors.
The drivers handbook is an original, not a reproduction, and the seat belts have the original tie on tags. It also retains the original wet type ‘hydrolastic’ suspension.
Every replacement part fitted has been thoroughly vetted for authenticity and quality, and in some instances even rejected when not up to the standard of the rest of the car.
