This marvellous Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II was delivered in 1980 in a beautiful silver paint with chrome piping. The grille has the golden ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’.
Recently treated to the following:
Strip carburettors o/s tank and cold start mechanism
Fit new ‘o’ rings and set up mixture control
Fit new coil, check rotor arm and distributor cap
Refit air cleaner assembly- fit new SU fuel pump
Strip front brakes and replace pads
Replace front o/s door arrestor and bearings
Service and repair electric windows and central locking
Service windscreen washer system
Repair drain on battery
Interior lights repair
Prepare for MOT- passed with no advisory issues
The interior has beautiful cream leather with a lot of wooden and chrome details, very luxurious, in great condition and very comfortable. The Rolls-Royce has the original 6761 CC, V8 engine and automatic gearbox. This really beautiful Rolls-Royce is ready for a lot of driving fun. Introduced in 1977, the Shadow II's upgrades over its predecessor included: rack-and-pinion steering and revised front end suspension geometry, plus a change of carburettors, exhaust and cooling fans all aimed at improving fuel consumption.
Car has a UK title and MOT valid till October 2017. Any inspection will demonstrate the quality of this vehicle and would find an excellent home in any collection or regular use.
